Ryall Park Therapeutic Community Garden
920 Ewen Avenue, New Westminster, BC (Across the parking lot from Queensborough Community Centre) Saturday, September 9th 11:00 am – 12:30 pm Help us care for some important areas of the garden, while learning mindful gardening practices. I will share how to identify what is helpful and what might be causing unnecessary challenges – in the garden and your life! We will discuss a wide range of pollinator needs (and how they help people stay healthy and happy), as well as how to recognize what garden weeds to pull (invasive species), what to leave (natives and medicinal plants), and what you can do in this community garden, and around your home, to help local species thrive.
