For The Workplace

Extensive research has now shown the importance of providing a work environment that encourages creativity, engagement, innovation, and collaboration. Something as simple as placing a small houseplant at or in view of a workstation, has been shown to significantly decrease short-term sick leave and reduce reported stress, while also increasing job satisfaction, productivity, and collaboration.

No matter whether your workplace has a modern sustainable rooftop garden and ample surrounding green space or is hidden in a more secluded industrial area surrounded by parking lots, Cheney can show you how to engage with your space and find or create small gems of nature to inspire and increase employee engagement, team communication, and individual wellness.
  • The Workplace Site Assessment includes a 60-90 minute in-person evaluation of the space, followed by a report of the wellness resources in and around the space, and how to best make use of them for optimal employee wellness and team cohesion. 
  • Can also be combined with any Team & Organizational Development program if you are interested in encouraging employees to use a particular space for personal &/or team wellness.

For Your Home or Neighbourhood

The therapeutic value of interacting with nature in and near your home is becoming more widely known, or perhaps remembered, in our society today. You may have a beautiful garden space you’ve been tending and meditating in for years, or perhaps you’ve got a small apartment, but want to explore options for bringing nature indoors or exploring and engaging with nature in your neighbourhood or around the Lower Mainland.

Cheney can help you work with whatever space you have. Learn meditations for connecting with your garden, or have Cheney guide you on a walking meditation and teach you how to explore your neighbourhood with a new set of eyes.
  • The Home Site Assessment includes a 60-90 minute in-person evaluation of the space, followed by a report of the wellness resources in and around the space and how to best make use of them for personal wellness.
  • Can also be added to any In-Person Coaching package if you would like to learn how to incorporate a particular space into your personal wellness plan. Sessions can be held in your home or garden space or a favourite outdoor location of your choice.
